The terms,
in plain words.

What we each agree to when you practise with me. No fine-print traps — only what's fair and true.

Who you're practising with

One teacher, one pair of hands.

Devishakti is the yoga practice of Shambhavi — yoga therapy in the Bihar School of Yoga lineage, with a Master's in Yoga Science. Classes run online from anywhere, and in person in Pune, India. This website (yogadevishakti.com) is where you read about the practice, reach me, and book a class.

By booking a class, paying for one, or sending the form, you're agreeing to the terms on this page and to the Privacy and Refund & Cancellation policies.

Your health comes first

Yoga is care — not a cure.

What I teach supports your health; it does not replace medical care. I am a yoga therapist, not a doctor. Nothing here is a diagnosis or a prescription.

Please tell me before we begin about any injury, illness, surgery, pregnancy, or condition — and check with your doctor if you're unsure whether a practice is right for you. Move within what your body can do today; never push into pain. You take part in your own care, and you practise at your own responsibility.

Booking & payment

What it costs, and how it's paid.

Prices are shown on the Offerings page, in Indian Rupees (₹), and include any applicable taxes. The free demo class needs no payment. Paid classes are taken securely through Razorpay; I never see or store your card details — only the record that a payment was made.

Monthly classes (the group, one-to-one) are billed for a 30-day cycle. Workshops are a one-time payment for the full run. After you pay, I send the joining details — the Google Meet link, or the address for in-person sessions in Pune — by email. If a class is full when you try to pay, the payment won't go through.

In the room (or on the call)

A small circle, held with care.

Online classes run on Google Meet; in-person classes at my space in Pune. Please arrive a little early so we can begin in stillness. The circle is small on purpose — come as you are, and let others do the same.

If a session is ever recorded, it's only for the people in that circle and isn't to be shared or reposted. I may, rarely, need to reschedule a class for illness or an emergency — if so, you'll always have the choice of the new time, a credit, or a refund.

The words and the work

Mine to share, yours to practise.

The writing, the journal, the sequences, the recordings, and the design of this site are mine. You're warmly welcome to use them for your own practice. Please don't copy, resell, or republish them as your own.

Cancellations, refunds & the law

Fair, written down, and easy to find.

How cancellations and refunds work lives on its own page, in the same plain words: Refund & Cancellation Policy.

To the extent the law allows, I'm not liable for injury or loss that arises from practising outside my guidance, or from a health condition you didn't share. These terms are governed by the laws of India, and any dispute falls under the jurisdiction of the courts of Pune, Maharashtra.

This page is dated June 2026. As the practice grows I'll revise it, and I'll say what changed.

A question about any of this?

Just ask me. I read every word.

The same form, the same one pair of hands.

The open hand
